Make a Difference Monday’s

Last year, I did a short series of wellness classes called “Make a Difference Monday’s”

Its intention was to inspire healthy wellness practices for people.  It was a donation based class and when the idea came forward so did the fires up in Northern California. I decided this money would be “paid forward” to someone in need.

A dear practitioner named Stacey Pfiefer, nearly lost her home in Middletown, California. She managed to get out with her cat when evacuation calls were happening. Flames seemed to engulf the whole area as she looked back. It was a couple of weeks before she could return, and she was lucky her home still stood, but so many around her had fallen.

She offered bodywork for free when she could to help those around her who lost so much.

The donations from “Make a Difference Monday’s” went to Stacey Pfiefer, and she paid it forward to someone in need, who also does good work in the world.

Thank you to all of you who were able to make it and who contributed to this short series. Your attendance made it possible for me to stay inspired in this wellness work I love, and Stacey and her client also send their gratitude for the contributions made.  Namaste!

Make A Difference Monday’s

Starting this fall, I will be hosting a Monday’s series of Self-Care classes at Christie & Co in Pleasant Hill. Make A Difference Monday’s is all about making a difference at a deeper level for personal growth.  Its intent is to inspire healthy habits for a sense of peace within.  As we give ourselves internal space, we create our own opportunities to make a difference on the outside. The focus will be on a variety of self-care tools. These tools will motivate us in staying centered, focused and clear.

Breathwork to Clear Up and De-stress
The Value in Silence and Ways to Cultivate It
Massage & Self-massage tools to awaken & release
Yoga Moves For Daily Living.  Wake up, Maintain, Wind Down
Ayurveda, What Is It & How Can It Help  – Nov 2nd  11am-12pm
Discovering Your Ayurvedic Constitution – Nov 16th  11am-12pm

First Class held on October 5th at 11am.  These are donation based classes, no one turned away. RSVP by email or phone as space may be limited.

No class November 9th…but I will hold a donation pulse clinic for anyone interested in knowing their dosha personally. Clinic held from 3 to 5:30pm.

Hope for Something Bigger…. A Grant?

Last month I unexpectedly found myself face to face with what seemed to be a teaser at the ATM.  It was an advertisement for a small business grant.  100,000 Grant.  My first reaction was “How Cool is this?” and I thought of a few businesses who could benefit from it.  A part of me wanted it, but I initially brushed it off.   I usually brush off most advertisements, but this one caught my eye about three times, so I did pass on the information to a few friends I thought might like to apply.  One freind in particular turned around and basically said “Why are you sending this to me….You should apply!” And when I took the idea seriously, I had a week to apply.

As life would have it I managed to complete the application a few hours before the final deadline.

The application process gave me an opportunity to think bigger about what Veda Well is and what I had hoped for it.  The idea of a grant gives hope for making changes I didn’t think were possible right now, or this year.  The idea of this grant, gave me motivation I didn’t expect.  I’ve been met with so much support from community and friends.

I now need 250 votes before June 19…. I don’t know if I will make it to the next level, as there are 2 days left to vote…. but I am reaching out to as many people as I can, and thankfully, Chase made it easy to vote….so….

If you or anyone you know is open and willing…please, please, please vote at

Search for Jenny Rinne and click vote (the name Veda Well will be official in a month)

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You….to everyone who voted and will vote and for those that believed in me when I wasn’t so sure.

Much Love, Light and Gratitude
